Join me for a chatty unboxing and swatching of Derwent Graphitint XL Blocks. Thank you MM! I just used my inktense blocks -the little ones - not the XLs along with you to draw a few birds this AM. And yes to the slowing down buying every art supply that pops up. I could open a small art supply shop with my supply at the moment!!

I use strathmore mix media ring sketchbook i like to flip my pages over( i think the paper is a but more toothie and can hold water a bit also also its easier to find at my local micheals about 45 mints away plus its in stock for artist locally) with my derwent xl blocks graphitint and i also use derwent tinted charcoal xl blocks theres yellow and white, i also have just the different lights darks charcoal blacks xl blocks in another tin i was into landscape, that were very loose drawings during shut down as i watched olive pyle and Paul o'Neill were teaching me about loose landscapes. I kinda love derwent i would watch alot of artist in uk when i was just starting out so they used alot of derwent products so i purschased what they used.📒🎨💙

Yes, your birds did turn out cute! I love the earthy natural tones of these, so nice! Cool to see how they behaved with other materials, too. And I’ve been trying to get my hands on the ottergami for months! They’ve been sold out for ages😢

Those inktense blocks look amazing, I have a few of the pencils and love them. Was wanting the graphatint blocks as well. Your sketches came out lovely! 😍👍

I've been into the thinner inktense blocks, but I the graphitint pencils. They go down dark, but throw water and BOOM, color 😍

The fat little man holds a lot of ink. So glad you tested the graphitint with neocolour 2 as I hadn’t got that far. I have the aubergine and olive colours.
