My favourite film of the year was either Top Gun: Maverick or The Batman, but it’s more than likely Maverick. It was just a fantastic movie, both are amazing movies and spectacles.

Everything Everywhere All at Once was such a surprise! I thought Maverick was going to be number 1 on my list, but then I decided to watch Everything and it completely blew me away - the humor, dialog, soundtrack, action and heart....

Nice, strong lineup! There are surely some superior non-English movies that I need to get around to, but I was glad that "RRR" and "All Quiet" got some attention.

And yes, "Everything Everywhere" is the standard-bearer, and not just because Daniel Scheinert is from Birmingham. Go, Alabama!

Honestly guys, if you haven’t watched everything everywhere all at once, do so. It’s beyond incredible.

Edit: It won the oscar for best picture, and I'm so happy. It earned it!

‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ is such an impressive science fiction/action-comedy movie. Actress Michelle Yeoh did a very good job indeed.
