As a Taiwanese, the culture is so richly displayed in Detention I feel horrified and nostalgic despite not born in that time. And the current political dispute within Taiwan is still very much the product of "that period."

The Taoist inspired shrines and creatures. Reminds me of the times my family went to a temple to pray for the living and deceased. In the temple, thousands of red shelled candles sits side by side in neat cubicles. Thank you for covering the game, Bunnyhop, I'm glad you like the game and recognized its themes.

Did you notice the picture mode and filters in Jettomero? They make it one of the prettiest games I've ever played. Filters even persist outside of picture mode!

I bought Detention from PSN after beating White Day on a whim, and I quite enjoyed it. Very atmospheric, and it was neat to see horror from that country.
