If the minifigure set was $40, I would have no complaints. The set itself I like, but the price is the issue. If they wanted to make it worth that price they should have had an alt head for Sam, and include one more character.

The mystery metal you're referring to is Adamantium. You know, the metal that is a part of Wolverine's internal body now.

It's weird that they didn't use an Iron Man style helmet or a pilot helmet with a breathing mask for Sam, like Vulture had.
But I'm not complaining because it's nice to get a new Captain America helmet and head print, even though not accurate.

I don't really get the wing complaint. This is Lego, you build them. CMFs have specialized pieces because they want to keep the part count balanced across the series which is also why the astronaut figure has a custom backpack.

It is absolutely crazy to me that every single Sam Wilson Captain America either has leg printing or dual moulded legs, but we never got that for Steve Rogers and he has tons of minifigures (if you exclude the CMF and SDCC minifigures). Steve Rogers is one of the best fictional characters of all time and Lego keeps giving him plain legs.
