My adult children didn't know what Bogart was. So I told them to buckle up butter cup and get educated, and showed them this posting. A dad's got to do, what a dad's got to do.

Look how young these guys are ..I remember going to see this movie when it came out in 1969 ..My dad took us to The Delta Drive-In which was on No.5 Road in Richmond BC Canada just south of Vancouver ...I miss them old drive in theaters and the intermissions with the playgrounds down in front of the big screen ...the 60's and 70's were fabulous times in history ...Alas ....now I'm and old fart myself ....

Don't hang onto it man, pass it over!!! 1969 whoa!!! Has my favorite number in it. Im loving this song right now. Had to take a drug test recently and the nurse that administerd it said soon as she retired she's gonna light up a fatty. My kind of woman!!!

My HS buddies and I (5 of us) rode motorcycles across the country in the early 1970's, singing this some every night, and our daytime mantra was "Benny and the Jets"

Saw this with Dad & Mom at the El Rancho Drive-In in Kent, WA. I was just a kid. The movie was an education in motorcycle culture, late stage hippiedom, and the changes that were taking place in society at the time, all served with Steppenwolf, Byrds, Jimi Hendrix.... A lot of cool movies were coming out during that time period -- this one, and the spaghetti westerns with Clint Eastwood. I never got into weed. Didn't like it. But I had buddies that were into it, and they had this album, and this track and the Pusher were their favorites. My favorite in the movie was If Six Was Nine -- the motorcycles rolling into New Orleans.... Terrific soundtrack for a very good movie.

This is by far one of the most awesome songs and one of the best movies of all times in my opinion for this type of environment, , Jack Nicholson Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda a lot of people don't realize is or relatively stoned doing the whole make of this movie, , that is a proven fact!!!!

Saw this 1st day it came out @ the Cinema 19 in Philly. Went with my brother in law. We were both stoned. Also saw 2001: A Space Odyssey there. They are 2 of my favorite movies of all time.

Had never seen Jack Nicholson in a movie until Easy Rider. A true cult classic. I do remember that it was rated R, meaning that you had to be at least 17 to see it. My brother was behind me in line to buy a ticket, but was underage.
I bought mine, gave him my driver's license, and he bought a ticket. What a fabulous movie.
