1. Animals are not as important as people. We all know this to be true on an instinctual level. If pressed further with "why?" I would say that's because animals aren't made in the image of God.

2. When it comes to human life, there is no correlation between worth and size. For example, we don't say that the largest people are the most important people. Therefore, it's illogical to say that abortion is ok because the fetus is "so small." If anything, the tiny size of the fetus makes it *more* worth defending.
