CordPro Cord Organizer Review

This CordPro holds up to 100 feet of 16/3 electric cord or 50 feet of 12/3 cord. It can hold any flexible cord like air hoses and water lines. It’s made of outdoor grade thermoplastic and has a comfortable rubber grip. You can use it in harsh weather and it should be durable. The diameter of the cordpro is 12 ⅝ inches and the depth is 3 7/8 inches. It weighs only .6 ounces. There is a metal reinforced hanging hole if you want to hang it up in your garage. The cord ends can be pushed inside to protect them.

The cord is organized into two separate chambers so you can access either end independently.

The cordpro worked well while I was mowing my lawn. It definitely keeps the cord neat and in one line so there’s less chance of you running over it with your mower. It doesn’t always unravel easily. Sometimes you have to walk back to the cordpro and give it a tug to get the cord out.

The most frustrating part of this was untangling my awfully tangled hose. Wrapping it in the CordPro was not difficult, you just wind both sides in the same direction. If you start with a newer, less kinked hose, it’ll take you very little time. It’s not perfect, when you wrap the cord around, sometimes the case doesn’t open easily so you have to push the cord in with a little effort.

There is an XL version of this CordPro that has twice the capacity as the regular one and there’s also a Mini version for computer cords and cables.

It’s compact, bright and has a very neat, simple design. It’s a decent solution for the messy cord in a pile. If you want to give this CordPro a try, I’ve put a link in the description below. Subscribe for more useful reviews and I’ll see you next time. Thanks for watching :)

New subscriber after watching this video. Very clear, to the point, and easy to understand. I was having a hard time trying to visualize how the cord reel worked by looking at the photo online. This video made perfect sense. Well done.

Maybe one point to add, I would show a video of you unwinding the cord for use so viewers can see how it works.

Best review of this item I've seen so far. Simple and sweet with good audio and explains the function clearly.

Step 1 of this should say: take your cord out into the sun (on a warm, sunny day) and lay it out for a couple of hours. Now the cord should be more flexible and easier to make into a smooth form without any kinks. We used to do this all the time with audio cords when I worked as a music teacher in schools.

Thanks for the review. I think that there must be a better extension cord trap. The daisy chain knot aka roofer's roll is much easier and free.

You called your electric cord a "hose" several times.... Thanks for the review.

Thanks for posting this! I found an XLfor sale when trying to locate a reel that could handle 50 ft. of 10/3 cord (there are probably a lot that can, but unfortunately most don't quote a length for 10/3). But they only had one picture showing it from the side, and was totally unclear what it was or how it operated. This was very helpful.

I bit the bullet and untangled the cord and laid it out in my driveway, then doubled it up so that I could accurately put equal amounts of the cord on each side. That way, also, I was able to put each side of the cord in together. You didn't show how it extends which would have been helpful. When you pull on the end, cord comes out of each side at the same rate, so that fully extended the CordPro will be well out from the plug.

I didn't need how to see all the video get the tangles out, I needed to see you unreel it and rereel it.

No one ever needed a reel as much as you! Great review though.

I had one similar and the cord overheated and started a fire in my basement.
