Jen, thank you so much for this tutorial. I spent the better part of my morning watching and rewatching the purl soho tutorial. I agree with other commenters that the yarn in the tutorial was much thicker than good wool, which is what the kit has. In addition, she never comments on adding yarn overs. I just need to ne sure that on row 6 should I be adding 1 or 2 yarn overs? where should i be placing these yarn overs as the fabric grows?

This was SO helpful. I was feeling the same as Lisa S--wanting to give up b/c the other video tutorials were done using thicker yarn and it looked much different than the yarn for the prism blanket. I also like how you used your left needle to pick up the stitch from square A--such an aha moment and made everything much easier. So glad I found you.

I am glad that you put this video tutorial out. It is quite helpful. Don't forget the YO's! My pick up stitches are loosey-goosey. Hoping that they improve after blocking. Thank you!

Thank you for showing the process through the first 5 rows. This is finally starting to make sense to me. Excellent video.

Thank you for this video!!! I knit one of these blankets and had to crochet it together. A pain and not pretty! I bought the Sweetshop pattern but could not figure it out. Now I can do it! ❤

THANK YOU! I needed to see the stitches on the wrong side after you pick up the first garter stitch in the join. The Purl Soho video doesn't show the knit on both sides. I am doing the KAL and this will be so helpful!

In the PurlSoho video they are picking up the purl bump with their right needle, wrapping and pulling through. You are picking up with the left needle. Isn’t this twisting the stitch?

Knitting away on mine! I feel like we are using a few similar colors which I love! Thanks for showing the join. I always wonder if I'm picking up the right garter ridge bump. I am on to my 2nd square, 4th triangle.

I need to get my glasses fixed. I totally thought this video was about knitting a prison blanket.

Sorry I mean shouldn’t there be 7 stitches on the needle after row 5?

Thanks a lot for the demonstration… but to be honest…. I do not understand why and when you do the YOs and when you do not🙈. You did in one row, but then never again…. I think it was before you had the 5 stitches on the right needle, so in row three. But in row five there are no YOs….?

I know the video is older but maybe you ore someone else can explain it to me. Nevertheless your project looks great♥️. Thank you!
