Charlotte Reznick, PhD, has dedicated her life to helping children, adolescents, parents, and professionals. She is a child educational psychologist, an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychology at UCLA, and author of the LA Times bestselling book, The Power of Your Child's Imagination: How to Transform Stress and Anxiety into Joy and Success. In addition to her private practice, she creates therapeutic relaxation CDs for children, teens and parents, and teaches workshops internationally on the healing power of children's imagination.

Here, she focuses on several simple, effective imagination strategies to bring balance and centeredness to our children's lives and to maximize learning. Core Imagination Tools such as the "balloon breath," checking with inner guides, and listening to the body's wisdom offer quick and efficient ways to connect with creative solutions for solving concerns (headaches, stomachaches, sleep) and reaching cherished goals (sports, social, academic).

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.*

This is lovely. I am in a support group through the Younique Foundation and we are all working on helping our inner children heal from trauma. I can't wait to share this with them at the next meeting

It's a shame that trolls are allowed to post hateful inaccurate comments. It's clear that these horrors below are a reflection of the writers own internal pain rather than anything that is real or true. Please excuse them and appreciate this positive TEDx talk.
