In this episode I'm in the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires! This city is unlike any other in Latin America, it's a unique blend of European influences and Argentine culture. In this travel video I explore Buenos Aires, Argentina and find out what it truly means to be Argentine. I delve into the passionate Argentine tango which has become a symbol of Buenos Aires for the world, watch a crazy football match and indulge in the famous Argentine asado (BBQ) which Buenos Aires is so famous for. I also explore historic neighbourhoods including San Telmo and La Boca. Ultimately it's the intense passion of the Argentines for their cultural heritage and their willingness to share it with visitors which makes this city so special and unique!

This trip to Buenos Aires left us in awe of the intense passion with which Argentines live their life, and how passionate they are about certain things like tango, football and the unrivalled Argentine barbecue! What did you think of the video, did you imagine it would be like this?

BBC or Netflix needs to hire you to make a long form of documentary. The stories that you are able to convey in just 30 min is so good. Can't imagine how good a 1 hour or maybe 3 part docu-series by Malini would be.

As an American-Argentinian I have to say you described Argentina perfectly, in one word repeated in this video a couple of times, Nostalgia.
I travelled, not much, but enough. I left the country, and came back. And as I fly over Buenos Aires, I always cry. It’s an addiction, it’s a type of love hard to understand, it’s the Italian feel, with the French Architecture, it’s everything Europe is and isn’t. It what you hate but need.
It’s nostalgic, because no matter how much time you spend away you will always say “don’t cry for me Argentina, the truth is I never left you.”
Thanks for the video.

Buenos Aires (and Patagonia) is the most memorable place I have ever been to. You present a very accurate view of the lovely Argentinian people.

Ok ..an Argentinean and Porteño here.
With the utmost respect. Saying that "to be an Argentinean" is defined by wondering a few blocks in the downtown area of Buenos Aires is like saying that a Florida inhabitant defines what an American is.
This country offers so much more that you couldn't possible imagine, my advice is for you to rent a car or better..rent a panel van and drive across the country and you will find out the native roots of our country. The gauchos, the natives before them, the immense Pampas, the mountains, the falls, the deserts, the jungles..
I do hope you enjoyed our country and our people

1st gen American-Argentine here! 👋🏽 I have always heard stories about my family back in Argentina and the history. It’s such a beautiful place and people. My grandfather left Argentina in the 60s to find work and better hope for his kids and family he found it in america…I wish to go back, I wish the economy becomes something that people can build with. A Argentine friend of mine always said the best line for the country “Esa pieza está algo suelta, pero la podemos atar con alambre – That piece is a bit loose, but we can tie it with wire.” They find ways to live even in hardship.

My wife and I recently booked our flights to Argentina, and it is great to see people I follow are making their videos about Argentina. I can't wait to visit that beautiful country!!

My grandmother moved to Argentina in the early 1920s from Serbia. My mother was born in Buenos Aires in 1933 and emigrated to the US in 1946. They got to see Argentina in its glory days. Everything was in abundance. My mother went to an English primary school. Her father worked for Standard Oil and did a lot of work near Salta where they lived for a time.
I had hoped to have her visit her home country before she passed but was unable to. I think she would've been depressed how the country appears today.

As I said before Angelica, there is something in you which makes you right at home in Mediterranean rooted cultures; Italy, Spain and now Argentina. Somehow, you belong there; Forget London.

I love the "look" of the video and that style of 'film' graininess and colour pallette. Fabulously atmospheric. Kudos to whoever does the filming and video post production.

We've heard you talk Italian, Spanish, maybe some French, and obviously English (And you have very a South Indian first name ). Thats a pretty versatile social DNA., we must say 😀😀.It always leaves us second guessing where your roots are from 😛.
Jokes apart, (we know we must be sounding like broken radios) BEAUTIFULLY DONE.
People watching is one of our favourite tings to do when we travel and this one is so full of it. This definitely ranks amongst our personal favourites.
btw, the soul of Buenos Aries is so very similar to Naples. We wonder if its Maradona 🤔🤔
As always hugs and love from India 🤗🤗
