Subscribed purely just from your first few minute intro explanation before you even reviewed the card. getting this card will upgrade it when needed, I dont want to rush out and spend $200 more on a 970 when in a few months or a bit longer a newer card will come out which will beat it for its price point. So my thoughts are go with the 960, use it for a year or so until FPS comes a problem in games, upgrade it when the newer range of premium cards come out instead of getting a 970 a bit late to the party just for them to release new cards a couple months later that kick its ass for its price and I'll have the $200 still sitting there to add towards the newer card.

And I can always sell the 960 when I upgrade or stick it in a low end system or give it to a friend.

I'm thinking about upgrading from my trusty old GTS 250 to the GTX 960 and I have a question about *sound*. I'm running HDMI supporting 2 monitors with sound through HDMI right now, (7.1 surround) and this is configured by a 2 prong cable from my mobo to my GTS 250.
Does this 960 have a 2 prong input for audio or is this a technology of the past? Does the 960 act as a sound card as well?
