I love how the dinosaur and other prehistoric-creature ghosts are portrayed as being just animals. They aren’t blood thirsty monsters out for killing humans. No vengeance, no concrete malice, no woeful sorrows of time since passed. They’re mostly doing what they would have done in life, even if they remain in a state of limbo in a world that has moved on from their time. However, their behaviors and abilities are slightly off enough that you can figure out that they are indeed ghosts.

Unsettling, but it feels more like a tragedy than a horror film. An entire race of creatures forced to forever wander a world that left them behind. Great work, and thanks for posting this.

I love how you made the dinos here look so utterly terrifying, but at the same time, they look so much like just - *animals* instead of complete monsters. Yes, they may kill a human, but they don't appear actively malicious, if anything, wary and curious of the modern world. Honestly, I'd argue seeing one of them staring at you is just as terrifying than seeing a cougar's bright reflective eyes looking at you from the woods behind your house, spooky but natural.

I always had a large amount of love for the idea that dragons are just ghosts of dinosaurs

Okay ghost marine reptiles flying around in places that were previously underwater is a really cool idea.

1:45 I like how the tyrannosaur doesn’t just charge and jumpscare the screen at the end, it just turns and goes the opposite way.

That dromaeosaur in the beginning was so birdlike. The silhouettes of the pterosaurs where drawn so perfectly The view of the sauropods over the city. The movements of each animal here. I love everything. You had me covering my mouth and tearing up.

0:59 that shot is absolutely beautiful and terrifying.. everything about this felt like some sort of a dream sequence which is stunning, calming, melancholy and at the same time full of dread surrounding the atmosphere.

i wonder if it is just like what the title says? it shows the souls of long gone Dinosaurs from the past roaming our modern city in the spirit realm.

Man, David Romero is the master of creating 2 minute long horror shorts that are more inventive than most full-length horror movies that get released today.

That was absolutely brilliant. And I love the concept to pieces. The remnants of that long-dead dynasty of giants. Just plain yes. The image of those colossal sauropod shades over the city is just downright haunting, and I love the raptor in the convenience store. It actually took me a second to realize it had gotten somebody because of how eerily peaceful the rest of the short is. From the starting frame to the last, the animals all look great. I've always loved dinosaurs, and I've always loved horror, and you up and stuck them togeather. God I love this channel.

Words cannot describe how much I love this. Taking samples of everything we are frightened of (fear of bats, glowing eyes, fear of big things underwater, and so on) and mixing them in with what would be a terrifying existence of giants and speedy carnivores.

Very interesting idea! I also really love the cinematics, especially that shot at 0:48 with the Brachiosaurus (even though they weren't even close to THAT size)

This perfectly encapsulates what i love about dinosaurs from a storytelling perspective. they’re simultaneously recognizable and normal animals, but also borderline eldritch and otherworldly. They’re both familiar and unknowable

Came here from Jay’s video. I never knew about you, but now I wish I could see your pleasant inn after watching your other work! Hoping to see more of your work again. You truly deserve all the praise and credits ❤

The scariest nature documentary. I love how calm it is: no roaring, no screaming humans, just dinosaurs chilling in the modern world. My favorites are the longnecks, the mosasaurus, and the raptor in the store. I'm a big fan of the cut from the store just before the bottle hit the floor.
Well made!

Came here after watching my boy Jay from the Kubz Scouts and I am sorry to hear about the situation about the copyright. Hopefully, this ends on a good ending. Much love.

This is both horrifying, yet strange beautiful. What I also love as a paleo nerd is the fact all the dinosaurs look very accurate, and act like actual animals. It’s scary because of how out of place these animals are, but strange beautiful in a melancholic way as this animation makes it feels like even after having gone extinct 66 million years ago, the dinosaurs very essence still continue to exist as ghosts. As if this animation shows that no matter how long it’s been, nothing is ever truly gone.
