Watch: Mike Johnson addresses Congress for first time as House speaker

Rep. Mike Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana, won the election to become the new speaker of the House on Wednesday, ending three weeks of chaos since Rep. Kevin McCarthy's historic ouster and taking his place as second in line for the presidency. Following his election, Johnson addressed Congress and was sworn in. CBS News congressional correspondent Scott MacFarlane has more.

Finally. What a great person to be the House Speaker. He is young and full of life ready to take on what ever comes his way. This should be a example for people in the senate and congress. To get the old out of office and bring in new life. The old people are toxic in office. I am talking about old as how many years in the senate and congress. Some of these people that have been in their seat for years got to go. They are stagnant they just do what they have done for years. That is not progressive.
