Sometimes shit gets so bad that you just don't know what to do, and don't have a support structure to make a change. I actually feel for her and hope she gets a chance at a better life and living situation.

As someone who grew up an environment like this, you learn to acccept what you cant change and it becomes normal. It never feels good when someone who didnt grow up like that points out the obvious to you, but youve really had no choice but to blindfold yourself

Unfortunately i lived in a house exactly like this...ive had rats run across me and also the people who lived with me were meth addicts. I was so depressed i came close to doing a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Thank God my family cared enough about me to get me out of there. Im much happier and live in a much better situation. Unfortunately rent here is just crazy... I'm talking 2k a month for the shittiest accomodations. When you work at normal jobs you can't afford anything else.
