In the first example you drew to (-2, 0) then to (-1, -1) where it touched again before ascending through the next point. Is this second point (-1, -1) arbitrary, or how did you find that or know that?

in your first problem, that was a 3rd degree polynomial, shouldnt that mean that theres 3 zeros? because you only had 2 of them
