‘Google is done’: World’s most powerful AI chatbot offers human-like alternative to search engines

A cutting-edge artificial intelligence chatbot has been built by a tech firm, and it has the potential to make search engines and many other human professions obsolete.

Launched only last week by the OpenAI firm, ChatGPT's sophisticated features have already attracted over a million users across the globe. These features include the ability to instantly compose everything from difficult essays and computer code to marketing presentations and interior design ideas. Poetry and comedy are no challenge for it, a skill that was formerly supposed to be exclusive to humans.

Because of its features, ChatGPT has caused some to worry that Google's internet search monopoly may not last forever.

Using a method called Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), which is dependent on input from humans, ChatGPT is able to "build a new model that is displayed in an intuitive chat interface with some degree of memory,

A human capacity for abstract thought has also been proved via ChatGPT. The AI was asked to “write a haiku from the perspective of a copywriter who is feeling sad that AI might diminish the value of the written word.” by a disillusioned Twitter user.

Another user on Twitter requested that the self-referential AI write them a “rap about the superiority of EVs [electric vehicles] in the style of Ice Cube,” which it did in great detail. Meanwhile, a creative programmer Michelle Huang created a replica of her younger self by feeding passages from her journal to a similar AI system, GPT3.

With the advent of ChatGPT, you may wonder, "What youngster would ever complete homework again?" Television host Liv Boeree stated that the bot can create elaborate writings on the fly.

Because of its extraordinary capabilities, ChatGPT has the potential to radically alter the economy by taking over tasks traditionally performed by people, such as website development, architecture, and journalism.
