This video shows the different load combination. To design any structure, first you have to take the load into consideration. There are various load combination available and engineer should use any of load combination for design purposes. One should choose load combination according to the scenario, in earthquake prone region one should must consider load combination of earthquake, in snowy region one should consider the snow load combination, so it depends on the construction site, that which types of load are coming on the structures, according to that you have to use the load combinations. Some load combinations are,

1.2 D.L + 1.6 L.L
1.2 D.L + 1.0 E.L + 0.2 S.L
1.2 D.L + 1.6 (S or R.L)
0.9 D.L + 1.0 E.L
0.9 D.L + 1.0 W.L
