This is a very simple pack but it is well built, highly functional and I think it pretty stylish. It does have some short comings but overall I think it's one of the best.

I have been using the Recycled Firefighter 12hr backpack for about 2 years. It's an awesome backpack. It has really taught me to carry less because the bag carries less. I usually stuff my packs with things I may need once in a while and make them heavy. Now I just carry what is needed and my bag is way lighter.

I would definitely buy this bag again if it ever breaks.

Well done Sir. You might recall I mentioned this brand after you reviewed a GORUCK awhile back- I to have the 12 & 24. I compromised with the 24 trying to avoid the GR prices. However I couldn’t get the stink of regret off that pack and finally graduated to a Huckberry Slick GR1 26L- it’s perfection. If you appreciate quality and detail: buy once cry once really does apply. Cheers.
