Intercooled Turbo Diesel Motorcycle (part 2)

I have been getting anywhere from 140 to 148 mpg on standard diesel. I haven't tried any other fuels in it yet, but I will post the results as soon as I do.

The turbo is working great! I can definitely feel a noticeable power gain when I get into the boost. I think the intercooler plays a big role in the performance gain because a lot of the guys that run the turbo with no intercooler say that there is no gain, or even a loss. This turbo produces 2psi at idle, and 7psi cruising.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I have recently traded the diesel motorcycle from this video for a Mill, Lathe, Drill Press, Arbor Press, Vertical Bandsaw, and a bunch of other metal working tools. I am planning on building a much better V-twin version of the bike very soon. I will post videos as it progresses. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.

I got an average of 148 mpg on diesel fuel. I'm not sure about other fuels.

Where did you get the engine from? I have tried looking for a "Chinese Clone" of Yanmar engines, and have had no luck online.

Now that definitely appeals to me.  It's just crazy and doesnt pretend to be something its not and who cares how fast it is or how much fuel it uses.

A friend of mine is looking to build a (bio)diesel bike. How many horses is the engine on yours (we're looking at a 20hp V-twin)? Also, what model is the turbo? How much boost are you getting?
