I got pulled over once because I was a fucking idiot and I still got a waring. I was going 65 in a 40 on a twisty road in the middle of the woods with no street lights, shitty headlights, and shitty brakes (a shop told me later on that my front calipers were zip-tied onto the car). all I could see was an empty road in front of me, and then all of a sudden chevy tahoe headlights turn on across the street, and then the blue lights, and he flips a u-turn, so I pull over before he even catches up to me. Since I was only 17 (I still am, this happened in January), and I had just gotten the car a week prior, he lowered my speed from 64 on radar to 54 estimated radar, and gave me a warning, but not before yelling at me for being a fucking idiot. I haven't gone more than 5 over the limit since then (with the exception of highway traffic flow and steep hills)
