In this tutorial lesson, we are going to talk about finding notes on the piano for both the treble clef and bass clef. Learn how to identify notes on the music staff and find those matching keys on the piano. As a review of this piano tutorial:
Every beginner piano student should know how to identify the keys on the piano. The piano key to the left of the group of two black keys is C, the notes in between the two black keys is D and the notes to the right is E. The key to the left of the group of three black keys is F, the one between the first two black keys is G, the next one up is A and finally B to the right of the three black keys.

I'm 76 years old, a music teacher told me in a class that I "couldn't sing", in front of the whole class. It totally destroyed my confidence as far as even giving an attempt at any kind of music. I learned 3-4 chords on the guitar but never got into it. However, I always thought I would love to play the piano. Fast Fwd: I've been watching the people on you tube play piano. Last week I bought a Casio 61 key keyboard from CL. I can do the scales up and down reasonably well, can identify the "C" chord pretty quickly, but am having a little trouble with the finger placement of the rest of the chords. Anyway, I'm trying not to get all hung up on it. My whole point is: I wish we could have had teachers like you way back then. Thank You for doing these very well presented lessons.
