Every beginner piano student should know how to identify the keys on the piano. The piano key to the left of the group of two black keys is C, the notes in between the two black keys is D and the notes to the right is E. The key to the left of the group of three black keys is F, the one between the first two black keys is G, the next one up is A and finally B to the right of the three black keys.
