Terrific video. New dvo user and this is enormously helpful. From the other side of the planet... Sincerely thanks!

I just started messing with customized spacer sizes in the positive side. I found running two was too stiff in the mid stroke so I sanded one down and polished it up to be roughly half the size of a normal reducer. I still have more testing to do with pressures to see how 1 and 1/2 spacers feel against 1 or 2 but so far I'm not unhappy with it.

I'm super light at ~140 with a light kit, and have the Gen 3 Topaz. Having a hard time using much travel, even on some pretty rooty rocky stuff. The sag is at 25% where I usually like it, but it's a bit wallowy in the beginning travel. My goal is to stiffen up the beginning travel to add a bit more support, but also be able to use more travel on rougher stuff.

Think I'm best served by adding a band or two to the negative chamber, lower pressure a bit, and see how that goes?

Thank you so much for helping out with your vids! 👍
I still wonder, when I would choose to top up the OTT reservoire and when to add bands in the negative chamber. It's kind of the same for me 😅 I'm at the point, where I added 1 negative band and topped up 25% of the OTT.
I ride a 145mm Ripmo (V1) with a Topaz T3 and weight about 162lbs (81kg) in ride-ready outfit.
Thx 🤙

Excellent video! I'm riding a Stumpjumper Evo with Cascade link. Stock this bike is very linear. The Cascade link made the bike noticeably more progressive but I'm looking to get a little better mid stroke support. I have a Topaz with 240psi at 30% sag with 190PSI in the bladder, 3 bands in the positive chamber, and none in the negative. Do you think trying a band or two would help with this? I feel if I add another band to the positive chamber the bike is going to ramp up too hard towards the end of the stroke. More air in the bladder made the overall stroke more firm and the bike felt harsh. Maybe I should just try running a little less sag? Thanks for the insights!

Hi, I’ve got the topaz 2 on my giant reign have someone use my bike and ride it over jumps etc with the shock in firm setting! To my delight I found the firm setting is now no different to fully open and now has a squishy sound to it under compression, I’m guessing something not to good has happened but is there anyone in the Auckland/north shore area you recommend taking it to so it can be fixed cheers Mitch

He jesse. Do you have to take all the pressure out of the bladder when you take the air can sleave off?

Why do you like so much progression in your topaz?

Hello

I need a piece of advice. I am 270lbs. I have 3 bands on the positive and 250psi, but I have 40% sag. Do you recommend some other setting?Topaz T3
