Two men convicted of killing Malcolm X have been exonerated. That's after decades of doubt over the circumstances surrounding the death of the US civil rights leader in 19-65.

The judge called the prosecution of the high-profile murder a "miscarriage of justice". And dismissed the convictions of Muhammad Aziz and Khalil Islam. Prosecutors say a new investigation shows the two men were not involved with the killing and determined that authorities withheld evidence.
