I needed to hear this because my work just told the theme of Xmas party being “winter ball” and I instantly went browsing white, icy blue or black sequin dresses and they tend to look either cheap or are never worn afterwards…

I buy sequined clothes second hand, that way I can find better quality, and help stop that plastic becoming waste. I've found some beautiful silk skirts with sequins and beading so much cheaper and prettier than the expensive fast fashion that comes around every year.

You will have to fight me to get rid of my silver sequin skirt lol I wear it with a white t-shirt to dress it down slightly. But yes, everytime I sit you hear "crunch crunch" 😂

Love this idea! If you really want sparkle I suggest going vintage again, there are a lot of great pieces that are totally sequined and beaded from the 80's and from what I've seen they are silk, and extremely well finished compared to modern pieces!

I've always heard Brandy this Brandy that, like how they have good quality stuff with 100% cotton, but some of the stuff I feel like more have a mixed quality at times. Also, Honey stores' prices are not low so am wondering if Honey's curation of clothes are actually good?
