The school trees in ravenwood are the direct descendets of the original school trees we found in empyrea, and they followed bartleby to his resting place on the wizard city spiral shard (before it was wizard city) and the treeminder people took care of all of them. The trees in dragonspire are essentially the children of the wizard city school trees as the treeminders gifted the saplings to dragonspire royalty so they could start their academy. So maybe the krok trees are from the ancient krok civilization, from before they found the part of krokotopia that the manders inhabited, since before enslaving the manders and taking the livable land over, the kroks were basically in the middle of nowhere with little to no resources and knew of no other races. So its possible during the split of the first world some trees were on that shard and because it was so seperated from the rest of the spiral they developed differently.

There were different trees in empyrea too, they had sun moon and star school ones too. Was a fun quest line

I honestly think these trees tie into Lemuria. My main reasons being:

1. We already have a balance tree in Krok, Miles, and the drawing of the balance tree looks nothing like him here

2. The surrounding artwork and style of artwork is reminiscent of the Lemuria prequest where you obtain the mosaic artwork of the old one.

Just putting this out here as food for thought.

did you notice that the fire, myth and ice trees are next to eachother, and the death, storm and life ones are next to eachother? Those are the astral school masteries I think. So maybe we're getting astral masteries.

Kind of a shot in the dark but the trees on the concept up/teaser look to have different personalities than the WC trees, almost opposite but thats for the Fire, Storm and possibly Life, not sure about the others.

My oh my… The sheer wonder of what this would be… Whatever happens, it’s going to be big, I just know it. It may release in November, or it will in December or January, but whatever happens, I’m in.

I hope that these new school trees can be a better source of crafting treasure cards. I'm trying to craft Rat Spin right now and I've spent so long doing it and it's exhausting but having a way to just craft it would be easier.

I don't think the trees will be in Krokotopia because it already has Niles so it wouldn't make sense for them to put another balance tree there
