Let’s I thought the thumbnail was a meme the first time I saw it. I knew it was the 9.9 but it looked like you had enlarged it and pasted it on the back of the Guru but it was just that big! So, I’m completely sold that the Guru can handle anything even running in light chop loaded with 300+ lbs of motor, gear and Aliex! I’m sure it could handle the 15 or 20hp since they are practically the same motors, you can actually make most 9.9’s into a 20 or 15 with just 2 parts. Realistically the 5 or 6hp 4 stroke and AutoBoat is probably the ideal set up but it was extremely entertaining watching you run that 9.9 fully decked out on it!

Insanely big, yes, Insanely powerful, no. Put a 2 stroke 25 or 30hp engine on it. Close to the same weight but twice the power.

Excellent content as usual. Bought a Voodoo on your recommendation and put a 2.5hp Suzuki on the back. 6mph is good enough for my shallow water red fishing. BTW, if you don't prioritize your health and fitness, life gets exponentially suckier every year. I'm 64y/o and I see a huge difference in quality of life between those who eat well and exercise consistently and those who don't.

Definitely try the 20, hook a thumb throttle up to the paddle, lock off the motor in the centre and steer with the paddle. should be good for 45mph. Won't have to be all twisted up and unable to steer left.

Could also mess about with different props with the lightness of the boat....
