Purchase/Stream 'Machines of Our Disgrace':

Machines of Our Disgrace marks the 5th full-length studio album for industrial music pioneer Circle of Dust, after a near 20 year hiatus. Created by artist/producer Klayton, best known for his multi-genre project Celldweller, Circle of Dust returns to Klayton’s industrial roots with metal riffs, pulsing electronics and catchy songwriting.

Klayton pushes the envelope of fusing modern metal and electronic production with gritty industrial noise & samples on Machines of Our Disgrace, while incorporating both aggressive and melodic vocals with thought provoking lyrics about man’s technological evolution. Songs like “Contagion” and the title track “Machines of Our Disgrace” question our relationship with technology while “alt_Human” and “Neurachem” explore the world of biohacking and genetic modification. The tracks “Hive Mind” and “Humanarchy” provide commentary on man’s place in modern society’s political and scientific moral ambiguity. The emotionally charged “Outside In” shows Klayton’s softer side in a heart-gripping track with lush harmonies, acoustic guitars, pulsing sound design and introspective lyrics.

Machines of Our Disgrace is the album fans have been waiting for the last 20 years and is sure to stand as one of Klayton’s crowning achievements. In anticipation of a brand new album, Klayton remastered and re-released the entire Circle of Dust back-catalogue in 2016, featuring the albums Circle of Dust (self-titled), Brainchild, Metamorphosis, Disengage and a side project titled Argyle Park, each originally released in the 90s.

Alright Klayton, with all of your library in mind, staying that you are a musical genius would be an understatement!

This song actually gave me inspiration to start thinking up an idea for a corporate supervillain with the name "Hive Mind". I'm surprised I haven't heard of one by that name in comics or other superhero related stuff!

This is giving such good Warframe 1999 vibes. Digital Extremes should 100% contact Klayton and see if they can't license out some of his awesome music to use along side the other industrial Techrot songs.

I just noticed the date this was uploaded. I like to believe it's no coincidence.

I think out of Klayton's main projects, my favorite Celldweller track is either "Good L_ck (Yo_'re F_cked)" or "New Elysium, " my favorite Scandroid track will probably always be "Salvation Code, " and this just shot right to the top of my Circle of Dust favorites beside the Stahli treatment of "Nothing Sacred."

You are an impossible talent, Klayton. May your career be long and prosperous.

Forget the Inaguaration Day! This lyric video is awesome! Raizer's We Are The Future album is great. Those are the ones that makes this day a good day. 😎

Knowing that one day we will definitely find a way to connect our own brain activity with tech, makes me afraid that in the gain of "brainpower" avaiable for calculating and processing large amounts of information, also for sake of more obiective decisions, we will lose our individuality.

I like the way Internet is a sort of hivemind, though. It has collectivity of all the data, willingly or unwillingly stored in it's memory. It has cells that though have access to all of these data, choose their own range of recognition, thus saving their individuality from dilluting. And in the interaction of collective groups of these cells, some of these data are being processed; more cells more calculating power, like a mainframe trying to find a good result by comparison of countless random results, eventually archieving more or less correct image of the matter.

And the song gives you just the warning you need. Do not ever allow for scenario like that.

"The strong survive. The weak perish. It is the law of nature."
"The conqueror feast upon the conquered. And in death, the dead feed the living."
"They call. They fight. They sting. They aggravate in torment. *They are without mercy.*"
"Old age. Disease. Injury of immune weakness. Weakness of life's death."
"There's no respect of persons, places, or things."

While I was watching "Edge of Tomorrow", all I could think of was this song. There needs to be a video of that movie made with this song or something.... They just go together....

This is the perfect metaphor for religious superiority. Klayton wins me over with yet another album!

there is no such thing as an overlords or queens in a true collective, but instead the intermingled choices of the individuals form patterns in the whole, which in turn burns away divisive elements from the hive before it crumbles, if you make your enemy the hive as a whole thinking its lead by a single party, you will fail to find them and perish, as it was the entirety of everyone in the group you actually turned on
