What does it mean to be kingdom people? What is the nature of this kingdom? What is our responsibility to the world we find ourselves a part of? If Jesus is coming to bring His kingdom and to rule over the earth, can’t we just sit and wait for that to happen? As we consider this model prayer, especially the petition “Your kingdom come. Your will be done…,” we will seek to discover our responsibility as local representatives of the kingdom of God.

This was everything and then some!! I called to the Lord for some help in peeling back the layers of this popularly memorized and recited prayer and he brought you to my YouTube feed (like right away!) Yes, Praise God!! Yes, we have this prayer memorized but do we understand who we’re calling to (The Holy King), what we’re asking for (your kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven) and do we understand that we don’t have the right to ask for forgiveness if we can’t forgive??? And there’s so much more!! How useful are we to the Kingdom? Are we truly united when we call out to “Our Father”? You’ve got me hyped, Pastor Skip!! To God be the Glory! I was at a Narcotics Anonymous meeting and an older man was selected to close the meeting. He began reciting The Lord's Prayer and the room erupted in cursing and yelling. The man walked out. I stayed but I never went back to NA.

True disciples of Christ care deeply about Israel and the Jewish people. It doesn't matter to me if a Jew believes that Jesus Christ is the Messiah or not, they are still God's chosen people.

The Lord chose to Co-Labor with His Bride Who in Communion (Strongs Conc., Koinonia/Intercorse) as One in Him, would walk—through us on earth as it is in heaven! His Body grows up into the Head, which is Christ. This is a beautiful love story and Marriage made in heaven! If the Kingdom hasn’t come, then we’re all going to hell now.

I have a 'church associate' who is a post-millennial and he believes that the world will go to custard before Christ returns.
That aside, since our last in-depth discussion when I said why I'm a pre-millenialist because 'the Millennial reign of Christ' is yet to happen, 'show me a history as to when the Millennium happened', we talk a little bit less.
It's simple, The Millennium is yet to happen and it's a definable time span of, surprisingly, a thousand years.

You know that Jesus Christ does not listen to prayers without addressing his GOD the FATHER 'YAHWEH' We begin the prayer with GOD the FATHER YAHWEH and do not ask for the HOLY SPIRIT and we end the prayer in the name of his Son Jesus Christ .
It is GOD the FATHER who decides and it is not God the Son, everything goes through God the Son who plays the intermediary between GOD the FATHER YAHWEH and the believers.
This is what real public prayer is like.

There is no scripture that says Christ will setup a literal kingdom here on earth, in 1 Peter says when he comes back this world will be destroyed by fire. Jesus is already ruling, he is at the right hand of the Father ruling now

It's funny how Skip said that it should be called the disciple's prayer, but in the same breath he called it the Lord's prayer. I just call it the Our Father.

I dug down to the Rock of the Foundation, placed the Cornerstone, and built all accordingly to the instructions. I have become, unbeatable in the pro head covering teaching. Unmovable, by all contentious arguments against head coverings. We have no such custom, as to be contentious against the mothers of our faith. Or to wither away all the daughters because of a man contentious against the mothers of our faith. And the word of God concerning respecting our mothers.
