Dateline Philippines: The Philippine Coast Guard denied Wednesday claims made by the Chinese Coast Guard that it only allowed a resupply mission to Ayungin Shoal on humanitarian grounds.

If I were in the Philippines, this would be my proposal to the United States.
If the worst comes the Philippines is in a bind against China, here is my advice.
The Philippines used to be a colonial state of the United States. The fact that both country's relations and interest is symbiotically related such as their culture - language - security - ECONOMICALLY - and security.
The security of the Philippines was embedded with the United States umbrella, written in both country's history a few decades back. It was recently renewed by adding the EDCA site's agreements to solidify their commitment to each other. The Philippines is strategically important to the world and to the United States.

Without joining the Union of the United States, like Guam - Virgin Islands - Northern Mariana Islands as well as Puerto Rico, I WILL SEEK TO BE THE PROTECTORATE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Of course, it is necessary for the Filipinos to have a plebiscite to make this decision possible.
The United States has all the legal rights and international rights to protect the island's sovereign rights.

This will deter China's aggression to the Philippines.
