Dude, don't apologize for your speech; your pencil and pens speak a universal language, and I appreciate your explanations. This video is very helpful.

Absolutely brilliant. I FINALLY understand what cross-contour hatching is supposed to be and can start trying to apply it. Love your work!

Sir, your English is far beyond my own understanding of your language; do not let people criticise that in such a way as it is unfounded. It was truly an amazing drawing and your narration worked wonders

This is the best tutorial on crosshatching with engraving style hands down. I love the step by step process you have.

OMG.. your ability to draw parallel lines and curved parallel lines perfectly aligned and spaced is unreal... and what sets you apart from non-artists trying this... WOW!!

This has to be the most informative 12.5 minutes I have ever watched. From your Lumus method pencil drawing to the finished product, it is packed with no-nonsense information that can be easily followed.
Excellent tutorial Tri Le, many thanks.

In the years that I’ve studied art, I had never come across a lesson in crosshatching as detailed as this. It’s usually shown as small patches. But with the complicated forms of a portrait, it is wonderful. Thank you. I’ve gotta try this. WOW

That is one of the most beautiful tutorials I have ever seen of drawing. You are a tremendously gifted artist and I hope you will publish a drawing book with all your knowledge and experience,

My buddy knows I'm an artist. He asked for a portrait of him and wis fiance. I told him I haven't done a portrait in a while but I'll try. Good grief it is not like riding a bike. This skill needs to practiced every day. I'm on attempt number 8 but I've retrained myself and your video has given me inspiration

As a native speaker, I found your English to be easy to follow. I applaud both your bravery to do this, and your skill that you share with us. Thank you!

This is the coolest thing I have ever seen. I always admired Franklin Booth's drawing but never knew how to achieve the same effect. Thank you!

Appreciate the time taken to explain clearly in detail step by step guide nicely done :)

this is a great breakdown of each step, looking at a finished drawing it's hard to understand where and why each line goes but this was very well explained! I have naturally shaky hands so this might be impossible drawing style to me, but I want to try it at least once...
