they should ad d like a lil mini boss on each island (would be a rare spawn tho) that drops like hella loot

To go deeper into that idea you talked about for making better enchants, maybe that or add another type of enchant, as like a new tier (mainly for visual difference), such as "Primal Enchants" or "Prime Enchants", would be another drop color but one close to enchants, would have "Prime [enchant name]" or "Primal [enchant name]", those types of enchants would only be found in chests.

Another cool things would be another visual effect, or color idk.

It would be cool to have a cave island that had a mid-early game monster, like a golem, or a sharko or something, and it would have slightly better loot than a normal island.

They need to add the guild island as something that a guild can capture and it can work as a guild base and as a guild banner

I think the same went for bandit sea camps. I really do not fight them that often but when I actually do, they drop enchants pretty often.

ngl I progressed mainly off of islands yesterday and it was some of the most fun progression I have had in a long time. I found myself not just fighting at the islands but selling my loot at merchant ships, buying food and tools there too, buying bigger boats ect. It kinda felt like a new origin. The only problem is the spawn rate, sometimes you can find 3 islands in a row other times your sailing for 10 minutes and only find sharkos on boats, so I hope they add more spawns (because they appear to be static which really limits them) and up the spawn rate. Whats also nice is that because your at sea you don't run into any voidwalkers so its pretty peacful.

Also I think it would be super cool if there were islands with optional objectives you could complete for insane exp and decent or good loot, for example mabey you can steal somthing like an artifact from a gaurded island and turn it into a merchant ship, rescue prisoners and bring them somewhere, hold a point on an island for a certain amount of time while waves of mobs attack you, destroy a fort on an island using cannons, theres so much cool stuff that could be added to make progression feel fun again.

Also not running into voidwalkers is nice but it would be cool if they could hunt you in a boat, you could be sailing and then a voidwalker could spawn near you on their own ship. The voidwalker could get exp from sinking your ship rather than killing you which would make ship combat somthing players would actually pay attention too. If the objective stuff you could get from islands floats in the water after your ship sinks the voidwalkers could even be incentivized to do ship combat to steal that stuff and get exp from it. With all these things I feel like the sea would be way more alive then it is now and be an alternative to doing the same exact thing over and over when progressing.

TLDR: increase island spawn rate, add unique objectives to islands, allow voidwalkers and other random players to be pirates and steal the objective related items that you get from islands to revive sea combat.

they did this with the original pirate towers, enchant rates were crazy high on them to the point where you could get around 2-3 enchants from just 2 towers almost consistently

Buffing naturally found enchants would just make the minmaxing process even worse, which would be fine for a sandbox game like Deepwoken on release, but not with a ranked ladder system. It would be better to make it a cosmetic, like a bigger effect if the enchant was natural, or convenience, like having a boosted drop rate while one is equipped.

the thing bout people using different kinds of weapons cuz of enchant rarity back then should be easily fixable if the devs just balance them and make them more unique from eachother

Wow anyone who tried these events could NEVER figure out the loot drops were rare. THANK YOU AGA
(If u never tried em, ignore these enchants, the coral ones all have depths chests, and threshers in the etrean gives fort merit loot)

Btw the void sea ones gives depths chests the first one I found had a 2 star pen curved so if u wanna farm them the void sea ones go crazy

These islands are also cracked for progging, the depths island and hive gave me like 12 attribute points at power 8-9 straight out of trial of one. More sea events would be awesome, ive been enjoying this game a whole lot more

I love these islands, they give so much exp and you don't have to worry about void walkers (at least I haven't seen any while grinding yet)

The loot in the chests are already existing loot tables, only having erisia, hive, merit and layer 1 loot

This is based off my experiences but the little guy ones have a high enchant rate and the one where it’s like super tall and the chest spawns inside the lil thingy in the middle has nearly a guaranteed gem drop
