I was at T&T supermarket and I saw these phoenix buns ( salted egg custard steam buns) on sale for 2 packs for 8$ each pack has 9 salted egg custard buns.
I steamed them up for 7-9 minutes and enjoy.
The custard was so rich and sweet and delicious.
I love getting this buns at dimsum or yum cha but they are so expensive. Normally these buns cost 8$ for 4 buns at the restaurant.
They are a cheap snack and good breakfast or for dessert.
Chinese people normally eat them for breakfast.
