In terms of all out skill then Tyson is the undeniable winner here, skills such as launch styles, use of different length ripcords, use of other spin rotations, the inclusion of new gimmicks as well as dealing with the unknown skills of other bladers are all skills that Tyson had learned, and then there's the fact that he's had time to actually be able to function in other terrains such as snow, rain, etc.

Since there are burst remakes of the previous gens, it would be cool to imagine how they’d all battle in burst.
Like they’d try to move them wherever they want at will and launch them on the ground but it won’t work because of closer-to-real-life physics.

Tyson is probably actually the best blader out of the MCs but Ryuga is definitely possibly the most powerful character in all of metal fight. He never loses, and one could argue that plot armor has a role in it, but it doesn't feel cheated when Ryuga wins. It feels to me like Ryuga is just that strong, like some sort of Giga chad.

A couple of notes regarding Metal Fight.

Gingka does train in both strength training and I guess you can call it skill training. The first examples that come to mind regarding strength training is when he was pulling weights (reps of I think 1000 IIRC) to increase his launch power. Regarding skill training we know he did that in his home village as shown when he goes back after initially losing to Ryuga. There he shows his launching accuracy when he is able to make Pegasus skip from rock to rock over a river just from his launch and also when he had to make Pegasus go through a couple of holes with his launch. Another thing that compliments the fact that Gingka is actually skilled is when he goes to Beylin temple and he is able to keep up with their intense 4000 yr old training regime and is even complimented by the Chinese team.

Gingka story starts with him already being a great blader thanks to his upbringing in Koma village and we see him progress from being already a really strong blader which is different from Kenta (not discounting Kenta's growth throughout the whole story.) Comparing Kenta's growth to Gingka's growth is like this. Kenta is a lvl 1 in Metal Fusion and Gingka is a lvl 70. By the end of Metal Fury, Gingka is a lvl 99 and Kenta is like a lvl 85-90. My point being that it's easier to see growth in someone that wasn't good compared to someone who started out as good.

Regarding the appearance of the Bey's avatar we know that they are real. Best example is when Gingka falls from the tower in his fight against Ryuga but Pegasus saves him by flying Gingka down to the ground. Also at the end of Metal Masters, Pegasus needs to dissipate the spiral energy so Pegasus flies into the cosmos to release that energy. Yuki confirms in Metal Fury that he was able to see the light Pegasus let out in space from the release of Spiral Energy as part of the prophecy of the 2nd star fragment's arrival. That's also where Gingka gets the name for his bey, Cosmic Pegasus.

Your points makes a lot of sense. Valt definitely wins by real world skill. For a fan myself who loves the Plastic Gen, I can admit that Tyson in actual real world skills wise, he really lacks. Tyson’s strength comes from his love for Beyblade where as Kenny is the one who REALLY is closer to Valt’s skills. heck! Tyson can’t seem to disassemble a Beyblade in the first episode of G-Revolution! XD

I never preferred Ginka as a character. Problem is, he's not much of a character. He rarely shows personality- like he never gets mad at anything, he's never selfish, he has almost no flaws, and I find it unrealistic. Like with Tyson and Valt, they are shown to have childish behaviors, which makes sense because they're kids. But Ginka never shows ANY significant personality flaws. He's just a perfectly behaved angel- except when he eats too many burgers. This is a real bummer, because from what little I read of the metal fight manga, he actually does do some work. To upgrade his PHWS Pegasis to the Storm Pegasis, he had to climb this big volcano. To be fair, he did that in the show too, but the way it was portrayed, it seemed like Ginka hiked up that mountain in a day.

TLDR: Gingka is not a realistic teenager character. He hardly ever displays character flaws. He's like a Mary Sue pretty much, as overused as that word is.

Plastic Gen had a bit of a skill element to it in the earlier episodes/seasons when it comes to the launch and how it would affect a Beyblade's performance.
Unrealistic launches, but they existed, and works in the context of the anime. Just something to remind you about that you somewhat failed to mention.

I always thought Kenta was a really underrated character by the writers themselves.
They give him the "for ever weak but supportive"-kinda role but that just doesn't sync with how he fights or grows throughout the seasons.
I think he is more like an introverted Max, for comparison, and he showed many times how strong he could be (iirc)

It's so refreshing to find someone that respects and gives equal treatment to all the Beyblade series without showing blatant bias. There's nothing wrong with having a favourite or one you consider the best, but it's so annoying when fans act like their favourite series is the only good one and everything else is trash, to the point where it's hard to say anything positive about Burst without a Metal fanboy saying their series is superior, and this is coming from someone who's main/favourite gen is the Metal Saga. And I know OG fans do this too

Rant aside, as for Gingka, even amongst Metal fans he seems to be a mixed bag, with a main consensus being plot tends to carry him forward even though he is meant to be portrayed as insanely powerful and an OP protagonist (and he had an undeniably epic introduction and has his cool moments). I don't really have much to say other than I was the biggest Gingka fanboy as a kid and always wanted him to win and be at the top. There was already a comment here that said this, but Gingka feels more like a Goku character, in that he has an impact on those around him, and he has his own firm beliefs on Beyblading and is clearly passionate about it, even though he portrays it cheesily at times. The near-end scene in Metal Fury where everyone tells him what a great impact he's had on their lives before giving him their power really shows this. I know that scene was really just a fancy way of reminding Gingka that he's the main character and he should finish the fight, but I can't deny, it was a cool scene

Even though i love the Metal Fight gen the most, i can definitely see why people don’t like Ginka’s character

I gotta say takao vs tala had big feats too like how they broke the time space continuum haven’t scaled plastic gen in a minute but I remember what happen between tyson vs tala but I also gotta say takao had good skill too I would say it’s tied with the highest in burst

Having to look back at this video, I think it is safe to say the standings has remain the same. With Valt number 1 at Skills base, with Tyson coming close. With Valt putting in the work in learning and understand how his Beys works, that really cements the idea Valt will be more skilful in Beyblade real life. With fantasy elements thrown in, Valt basically learns faster, and I guess as Valt gets older, he has slowly matured to learn about his Bey more.
Tyson defiantly is willing to put in the work, even the very first season of understanding the weight difference and spin power. I think we can agree what holds Tyson back is his ego to the point that annoys Kenny. Tyson's very own ego even blocked him from connecting to Dragoon during V-Force and not to mention G-Rev where Tyson wasn't putting his heart into Beyblading and more towards proving himself as a Champion. He defiantly shows growth when he is willing to put ego aside, ends up working on both building up his skills and the fantasy side of the series.
Gingka.... Do I need to say it?

It be interesting on how things go for Ex or Bird's standings in this.

by the way, the fight against Hades Kerbecs and Damian was just a bunch of baloney aswell, I recently rewatched both metal fight and plastic gen and I can't get over the fact that Gingka barely won against Gravity Destroyer and the proceeds to win against Hades Kerbecs just a few episodes further into the show.
Same thing goes for Kyoya right after the tournament.
I get that there has to be some plot armor but at least make it a bit more realistic, or come up with a side redemption arc.
Also Damian never had a comeback in Metal Fury even tho Jack did, they really did my man dirty.

All in all I have to say, I love metal fight i've spent hours watching it as a Kid, but if you want a show where you can appreciate the main character and see him progress throughout the series by actually putting work in, Plastic gen is the one you should be watching.

Beyblade went over the top every time. Like when Gingka fought the Black Sun Nemesis, a literal apocalypse more inevitable than Ragnarok.

Kinda want to see how the villains scale. The only burst villain I see getting anywhere is phi? But nowhere near nemesis or zeus I'm guessing
