I've never had a peanut cactus before. On my next visit to the garden centre I will have to keep a look out for one xxxx

Awesome video, Lyn 😊 I was glad to add one of these to the collection again when Ziggy sent me one. As you say, these are spider mite magnets, too. Just hope the mites leave my one alone! Thank you for sharing with us as always, Lyn. Have a wonderful afternoon and evening and rest of the weekend from Edith & myself to you and Hans ❤️🌵☀️🌼🌺🌸🏜

Lyn! I love the video! The Peanut Cactus just joined in on my next addition. All the cacti I'm considering are 2 inches tall and coming from California. I really enjoyed this video. It gave me a lot to think about. As always, I appreciate the detail you go into, the pros and cons; the how and why. Thank you so much for sharing. Sending you and Hans loads of love, heaps of happiness and tons and tons of Peanut Cactus Power for a Wonderful Weekend from your friend in Georgia!

Beautiful plants ! 😍 I had a cactus with this sort of growth when I had my cacts collection as a child / teenager ! 🌵 I remember it as having a light green colour. It was something that was passed on between friends and family in my area. Really hope to come across it again ! Your overview photo impressed me, that there are so many DIFFERENT ones with this sort of growth... 😱🤗

Love these little guys!! But have proven very difficult because of the one problem you said....Spider mites!!! Seems that no matter what, the little beasties find them!! Bought one last year, put it up high thinking it would maybe keep it out of the way. Just had to treat it!! Not sure how long it will last . I still keep trying!! Thanks for sharing Lyn!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, to across the emerald isle, have a wonderful day!!! Peace, Love,

These are very reliable cacti. Easy to grow and to flower. Been trying to find other colors but I always end up getting magenta. 😂

Do they have different coloured flowers?

I have a random question : Do you know where Mammilarias form roots. Is it from the Areole or like flower buds from in-between, the so-called axil?
