I started this cover so so so so long ago, which seems to be such a regular pattern for me lololololololll. part of the reason it took so long is bc i decided to do my own arrangement of the instrumental, which was a whole lot of looking at that one piano synthesia tutorial and painstakingly recreating it by drawing out the corresponding midi on lmms,, was there probably an easier way to do that?? PROBABLY but i did not do it

I was super duper proud of this painting when i made it (i finished it in MARCH) and i still do like how i did the rocks and cliffs but mmmm i think i can do better on the trees. also the values are all kinda wack, gonna work on improving that too

I really procrastinated the video bc i wasn't super sure if i wanted to keep using vegas pro, which doesn't really have any nice built in camera shake, and i really envisioned using it, versus using after effects that i've recently downloaded again for a class. in the end i stuck with vegas even if the camera moves are a bit more janky just cuz i wanted to get this done finally and i didnt wanna deal with ae. Kinda annoyed that I didnt get this done sooner but yknow what now it coincides really closely with the slime rancher two announcement and i cannot be mad at that

I would like to say to look forward to more vids now that it's summer break but i feel like i should never say that bc it almost never comes true LSKDFJLSD we'll see!!

This is very well done and the vocals are tuned really smoothly! A lot of vocal synths can be hard to understand with both pronunciation and voice effect, but this is really clear. The instrumental is unique too and a nice little twist. I love the artwork too, it's very detailed and I love the colors and just the whole peaceful nighttime vibe.

It's a shame that there aren't more covers of this song, I genuinely love this game and this song. I've played the game since early access and I've seen it come so far, and I'm SO excited for Slime Rancher 2. It's gonna be so good to have new content again and a whole new world to explore! I always loved exploring every new update, and I can't wait to have that experience again
