In our D&D campaign, I have a magic item that lets me create a random MTG card, but one of our enemies gets one as well (we then translate the cost, health, damage, and special abilities into D&D terms as best we can). Last time I used it, I got Emerald Charm, and in return, one of our enemies got Apex Devastator, and the cascades gave them extra card draw, other creatures with cascade, and it just kept building, until they created a massive board state. We haven’t fought them yet, or even know who they are, but somebody somewhere got a way better deal than I did, and we have a huge fight on our hands.

Ive never been able to actually cast Apex Devastator and get its cascade triggers, it always shows its face off of a "put" effect and leaves me feeling morose about the missed opportunity.
