What a great message! I learned something similar to this when i learned about guided imaging techniques in trauma therapy. Kai is basically describing this word for word. Kai your story has resonated with me even more when i found out what the netflix doc and other mainstream sources leave out. As a fellow victim and survivor of CSA and abuse my heart breaks and I feel for you. Your trauma history should have at least been a mitigating factor enough to not get first degree of a life sentence. Its so unfair that it was not. I also think that a lot of biases were at play here in your conviction, such being a home free immigrant from canada and being a male victim of SA which are sadly way less often believed and highly misunderstood and victim blamed (because they either should be strong enough to fight back so it should never happen to them, or if they do fight back they do too much damage from the overkill emotional heated-ness of it all so therefore they are dangerous anyways, even though that literally describes battered person syndrome). I survived it in my early childhood and it changes you and a lot of the things ive picked up from Kai's media appearances, I see in myself: The immediately helping victims and wanting to go after the p3dos, the substance use to escape the pain because lets be real trauma is the real gateway drug not anything else, the escapism which all take to a mental level but some take to a literal physical level such as abandoning your entire life as you know it under a new identity. There are many others of course, but this would go on too far before i could name them all.

Thats enough rambling for me, I also happen to live locally to where Kai is in prison. I absolutely think this case was handled unjustly and Kai should be free at some point in his lifetime. I would love to be able to support Kai and further more, be able to further support him now that i happen to be very much in reach. <3 I will continue to hope the best for Kai and all who run this page. :)

We are roughly the same age, I was born Jan89, I hope you are doing well, but it looks like you are a lot healthier than you were before. Please keep learning and stay healthy, perhaps earn a degree or a career? If they allowed you. Out here is really bad. Hey man. I was just watching a video on your case, and the presenter told of your YouTube presence. I watched this video immediately after and I wanted to share with you the comment I left on that video. The last line was just too coincidental to not share with you:

Wow. I remember seeing his first viral video, the interview after the traffic accident. I remember thinking then that Kai had a kind of innocent attraction about him despite the story he was telling. I think I can recall hearing of his incarnation, but I must've assumed it to be related to the hatchet incident. I don't ever remember hearing about him murdering a lawyer. I feel like I would've remembered that. This is definitely the most I've heard about it, either way. I have to admit, I have a soft spot for the guy. He lived a high-risk lifestyle and was obviously aware of this. It's just a shame, really. That, he felt so cornered and violated and felt he had to react the way he did. I guess the truth is what we make it individually, and I hope Kai gets a second chance at life somewhere down the road. Until then, may the Lord be with him in that Godless place.

My heart goes out to you, Kai! I saw your interview back in 2013 and had no clue about the predator in NJ a few months later.. I just saw a video from Coffeehouse Crime on the situation, and it truly makes my gut wrench!
I am a survivor of extensive sexual abuse as a child/teen and left my home at 17(2005). I became a traveling fire performer at 18.. I, too, lived a "home free" lifestyle, but I guess it's a lot different for a girl. I couch surfed with friends and performed at festivals.. I also built stages for shows and sold my art along the way.. I still found myself in a number of different questionable situations, but I'm thankful that I always managed to escape with little issue..
I pray that they give you another trial, one that is fair and just. Unfortunately, it's very apparent that we have an INJUSTICE SYSTEM filled with criminals while cower behind their qualified immunity.. I will keep you in my prayers, Kai. This dreadful place is temporary..
