THE TAITO SHOP IN AKIHABARA!

For a (very) limited there is/was a Taito pop up shop at the Akihabara Container and there was a ton of Taito branded merch there. T-shirts, artwork, figures, and plenty of the Egret 2 mini arcade machines.

I think those gachapon things were little arcade marquees to insert in the Egret minis at the top. If so, that is actually a great idea.

Puchi Carat is an excellent Taito arcade game, a mix of Puzzle Bobble and Arkanoid. Has some extremely beautiful sprite work too. Got ported to PS1 and GBC, and is on the PS2 Taito compilations.
