Very well explained. Also Fetch AI is not just a Blockchain but also a DAG because Machine learning needs faster and well structured communication for it to be efficient so Fetch AI uses Distributed Hash Tables (Broken down information) which are placed in Parallel Resource Lanes that are allocated to Validators enabling load balancing on the Network. So this allows the DAG to allocate specific tasks to Nodes that participate on the Consensus of the Network to source and/or validate Data. Finally Fetch Network Topology basically allows it to be highly scalable as each resource lane on the network can scale up to 30, 000 tps.

Is not the mumbo jumbo that matters, what matter is the crypto bros gonna pump it to the heavens. Realistically, lets assume all these things actually work, it will need millions of actual users to be on it to be practical. Your friend's digital twin can be useful to you?
