I enjoyed your video! You have so much enthusiasm it makes it fun. Lots of ambition:)
I would like to recommend not using masking tape though. It makes your edges sticky, and if it's on for years it can compromise your fabric. Try a whip stitch or find someone with a serger. You can also turn the edge under and just sew it.
I'd love to see a time lapse btw, that would be fun!

I just received my package too. I also have the largest cross stitch pattern which is the World Wonders Map and it is 550 pages. 2.4 million stitches.
