Tropical Storm Nadine has formed in the Atlantic, making it the 14th named storm of the season, and will likely intensify into a Category 1 hurricane overnight or early tomorrow. Nadine isn't expected to trouble any land areas, as it is forecast to curve outwards to sea. Nonetheless, do stay tuned for updates.

I don't trust these storms that form out in the Atlantic. As I live in NJ, we are vulnerable to tropical storms and hurricanes should we take a direct hit (as Irene did last year). I'm hoping that Nadine goes on course and heads out to sea. But, I'm still cautious just in case she takes an unexpected turn.
