Interdisciplinary Research Seminar Aula Mediterrània 2018

A wide range of issues will be discussed in the 2018 edition of the Aula Mediterrània Research Seminar, including women empowerment, women in Islam, activism in the Arab Word, immigrants entrepreneurship, religious minorities in arabo-islamic societies, free speech in the arabo-muslim world or the China influence in the Mediterranean.

The seminar takes place on 13-14 March in Barcelona in the framework of the inter-university programme Aula Mediterrània which aims to foster studies on the Mediterranean with as wide and interdisciplinary a perspective as possible. Started in 2015, it is the result of the collaboration between the IEMed and the academic world.
