It's been a year since I've played my Blu Guitar Amp 1 iridium. Is is as good & brutal as I remember it to be?

Sounded great, Jarrod! Even without any edits, lol! 😂 I remember when you first introduced the Iridium on your channel and how good it sounded then and I think you felt the same as well at that time.

It’s amazing how many good pieces of gear pass our way and we are left to forget just how good something was because we’re already off to the next shiny, new thing. I’ve had the Iridium since it came out and don’t think I’ve spent more than an hour with it in total because something else caught my attention. It’s major GAS! Your video is inspiring me to pull it out and give it another look so thanks!

First, thank you for demonstrating the gear as it is without any commercial pressure and for telling us your true opinion. This amp is used by Alex Bayrodt (at least with Primal Fear, and Voodoo Circle) live with the fatcab 1x12 on stage and the bluebox to FoH. He uses it in studio as well. He thinks it sounds amazing.
I would like to try this iridium and to compare it with a Soldano Astro and a Friedman JEL 20. These 3 are on my short list, pricewise the iridium is 1st.

My buddy was playing through Splawn and a Plexi... Killer tone..He picked up one of these, didn't want to like it, LOVES it... Uses this and a delay and pedal through a 412...Just saw his band (..other guitar player going throug an ENGL Artist 1/2 stack..) They sounded awesome... Bluguitar soinded huge, chewie and mean.. So Impressed!

I like the sound of this pedal very much, have not heard of it, but that is not surprising, there is so much great gear coming out these days...
I just need more capital for my tonal investments.
( I happen to be playing FATES WARNING on my stereo as I watch this, and it has occured to me that the tonal comparisons are relevant)

I have both the iridium and the mercury... they are both awesome..so many variations in there.. all you need for sure.. having on board effects in the amp X would be great as well.. but looping delay and verb is not ahrd with these units..
