This is a helpful tutorial. As a newcomer, I appreciate simple step-by-step videos. I will probably solder the pin to the cable wire to ensure a secure connection. To make things neater, I'm going to add a piece of heat shrink tubing to cover the end of the ferrule. Thanks for the video!

But these are radio guides, not electron carriers. Have you tested swrs with and without crimping and or the risky hasslesome soldering?

The centre pins have holes for solder, personally I'd solder it.

I have noticed that you do not crimp or fix the center pin in any of your showmecable videos - it is seriously wrong not to do so!
