Absolute pure joy to hear the lyrics "I hate the winter" going into a gorgeous feel-good song. Anyone who's ever had S.A.D. will know exactly how it feels. You can be passionate about the environment but still find it such a hard time in the dark and cold.
Lorde is clearly somebody who sees the environment as very important, but also feels very human feelings in the dark and cold days. I find it fantastically relatable, and I think its brilliant she opened her song with such honesty and made it a feel good track which will brighten people's days which will not just be a summer anthem but will brighten our days every winter for years to come.
