New York Auto Show: Industry shifts focus to electric vehicles

One of the biggest car shows in America has returned after a two year absence because of the pandemic.
And you do not have to look too hard to see a shift to electric vehicles.

LOL, this video is ridiculous. I have an EV. Way happier than owning a gas guzzler. It's a way more reliable option, the only problem right now is that there aren't great cost options in the US. Guess what? They are in Europe but they won't be sold here because Americans want big and dumbe gas guzzlers for social status instead of smaller, economy cars. Most unfortunate.

3 to 5 minutes at the gas station ⛽️ compared to 30 minutes at a charging station. EV are expensive to repair if battery 🔋 suddenly goes bad, Internal combustion engines do not degrade or lose charge over time. Secondly a brand new internal combustion vehicle can last up to 20 years if maintained properly, oil changes are insignificant.
There are no spare parts for an EV when the electric motor goes bad. You have to buy a crash EV and scraped the parts off from it
