Even tho the movie wasn't similar to the original series I think it deserves the recognition as the music and plots were beautiful..

Maybe if it was a different title? I love the song tho even not people are saying it's different as the original but this could be a more modern take

I knew that the name 'Jem and the Holograms' sounded familiar! The old TV show that ran from 1987 to 1988. All three seasons... I wonder if this 'Movie' is gonna be like that. From what I have seen the answer is no. My favorite song by them was 'Truly Outrageous'

I'm sorry and I hate to have to say this, but those of you who are complaining about the movie not being like the old cartoon (which I DID take the time to look up and check out), could you please stop? I mean I really am sorry, but let out generation enjoy what we want. I respect the fact that your opinion is that you think it is bad, or whatever but all of you are making this a much bigger deal out of this than it needs to be. I am part of this generation, but I have seen my fair share of old cartoons and movies and all that because it's what I was raised with, and I will agree that some of those things have been messed up by producers trying to get them hyped up again, but it happens and we've just got to go with it. My point is, I don't mind if you give your opinion, but don't go on huge rants (and yes I realize this is a huge rant and I'm sorry about this) about why it's bad or is going to be bad. Stop judging the trailers and give the real movie a chance first, and then you can judge it. It may be different, but it can still be either good or bad. Again I am trying to be respectful while I'm going on about this, but you judging our generations music, movies, whats a good idea, and whats not, would be like us saying the old movies, and cartoons you grew up with are dumb, and boring or just plain bad because it looks or sounds different and never really give it a chance. (Though I myself am personally a fan of older cartoons. I never watch TV anymore because of the stupid things we have, and I have given them a chance if they didn't seem TOO dumb. *cough cough* Pig, goat, bannana, cricket *cough cough*) Anyway I apologize for the long rant, and good night.

I grew up on Jem as a kid, and this is NOT her....this makes me really upset because i was a fan and now I'm not sure what to say
