Jem is a prime and perfect example of product positioning. On paper it's a MTV inspired barbie alternative. In reality it is a beloved 80's cartoon many young boys watched right along Transformers and Inhumanoids.

I showed my children this cartoon because my youger son was fascinated with the cartoons i grew up watching. After a few minutes into the very first episode after Jerrica transformed into Jem he asked me why they had big hair. I explained to him that big hair was popular in the 80s. I miss that decade and was so lucky to be born during that time.

I wasn't born in the 80s but my mom was so when I was little she let me watch some 80s shows like he-man, she-ra, and jem and the holograms and I absolutely got addicted to them so whenever I here their theme songs it's so to me nostalgia

I’m 17 (born in 2004) and I know this show was way before my time but it’s still my favorite. I used to watch it when I was getting ready for school at 6 every morning when it’s used to come on while I was like 9 or 10 years old. I literally fell in love with it!!!😍😍😍 Still in love with this show and the songs to this day!!!❤️❤️❤️
