Nono was a class kicker.
He was such a good kicker that despite being roght footed, he was playing on the left wing in that match. Although he was stationed primarily in the centre posotion.

Before the scrum Nonu scored from, Steve Devine got knocked out cold. They waited for him to wake up, then set the scrum - he missed the tackle straight away that Nonu scored from. Devine retired with concussion issues that he still suffers from to this day.

What a time to enjoy Rugby at its finest. Back when the refs let the gameflow and the rules didnt define if you won or lost. Glorious.

Hard to believe Nonu was so good for so long hey. Incredible. Jimmy Goppereth still around too i think
