My man of 22yrs cheated on me over two dozen times with “younger girls” he basically discarded me everytime he “hooked up” w someone & thot they were gonna be together- he’s 51 yrs old I’m 52- he was throwing me away for 22-28 yrs olds! I was devastated beyond words. He sent this song by CS to me via messaging app & wrote that this was his song to me and told me how much he loves me & needs me etc etc.
there was a time I would’ve given anything to hear those words- this song says it all- but as beautiful as it is it wasn’t enough to fix what has been destroyed. A little too late to come to his senses. He destroyed all trust & connection. I still love him too but I love myself more!
